How far is the villa from the beach? |

The closest beach is a 2 minute drive from Ange Bleu. You can walk there
from Ange Bleu however, there is a steep hill to climb on the way back! With
22 beaches on the island you will find yourself driving to explore more than
one. |

How far is the villa from the town? |

Ange Bleu is 7 kilometers (about 20 minutes drive) from Gustavia, which is
the harbor and main shopping area in St. Barth. The village of St. Jean
(restaurants and shops) is about 10 minutes drive. There are also
restaurants within a 5 minute drive of the villa. |

Yes, the villa is located in a very quiet part of the island, off of the
main road so there is little traffic.

Do I need a car? |

Yes. In order to explore the island, go to the beaches or restaurants, you
really must have a car. We can assist in renting a car, or we can recommend
a rental agency. |

Can I call home from the villa? |

Yes. Long distance calls will be billed. Local calls are free. |

Are there a lot of mosquitoes? |

Very few. Depending on the season and rainfall, the mosquito population
varies. Because it is an arid climate, there are far fewer than most
Caribbean islands.

Is there a gym nearby? |

Yes, the St. Barths gym is located in Grand Cul de Sac, about a
five-minute drive from the villa. There is another gym in Gustavia. |

Leave those clubs at home! There is no golf course on St. Barth.
There is however a new driving range.

No, we have a list of restaurants with very reasonable prices

No! Even the best restaurants do not require a coat and tie. You
